Who we are
Sean Tuck
As a business owner, my education, professional and personal experiences have all led me to Wild Ones Play Cafe. I have a BS in Psychology where I took a number of early childhood education classes and spent years volunteering and teaching children under the age of 12. My Masters in Business Administration has given me the studies and background around marketing, business growth and accounting. My professional experience in Sales where I excelled as a top performer year over year has given me the background working with customers and other entities to grow business relationships. Finally, my most important experience has come from being a parent. Raising twins in the area where we both work and play has given me an opportunity to both utilize the other businesses that currently exist but to also have spent hours with fellow moms dreaming up what could be. As a parent I’ve spent countless hours trying to create a sensory rich environment that both provides them with the sensory input they crave while also taking into account how over stimulating some other businesses can be. Wild Ones Play Cafe was dreamed up and created to give parents of kiddos under 10 both a space to meet other parents, enjoy some much needed caffeine and give their children the safe space to learn, grow and play.

A quote I often think about is, “Balance is not something you find, it’s something you create”, by Jana Kingsford. I have a motivation to create but I also like to acknowledge how fortunate I was to meet Sean and her being such an incredible inspiration for our lives and how we see the future to build together. Having the opportunity to see Sean’s kids grow and continue to yearn for play and knowledge has been a motivational journey. Spending time all together is something that I cherish. I’m thrilled to work with Sean to build out what started as casual conversations and dreams, into a reality of a thriving business for not only ourselves but in the community we both love. My past experiences includes Inventory Management with Whole Foods Market, IT Support and Knowledge Management with Capital One, and managing Technical Infrastructure for a small Sales business. Something I’ve enjoyed while working in tech has been the ability to adapt and evolve quickly. I’ve been able to participate in marketing analysis meetings, hand’s on utilization of social media management platforms and software, web development, and even a brief time preparing coffee’s in a retail setting. I am deeply committed to leveraging the latest technologies to enhance organizational effectiveness. I firmly believe that by integrating innovative solutions and the passion we have for providing a safe and inclusive playground that we will succeed.
